Mozzy has been dominating the later months of the year, decidedly going out with a bang with feature-heavy releases like Blood Cuzzins, “3 Deep,” and J-Stone’s “Real Sh*t.” Now the Sacramento-based rapper takes us to his Oak Park neighborhood in the music video for “Big Homie from the Hood.”
The rapper details his rags to riches come-up by addressing his upbringing, which involved gang banging in the streets to now being a symbol of success among his peers. The song also showcases several highlight locations from Mozzy’s hood, where we can see him eating food and chopping it up with his fellow natives. The track even flips R&B singer Mario‘s hit single “Let Me Love You” into his very own hood anthem, where he shows love to the place that brought him to where he is today.
