Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War after debuting in second last week takes the top spot this week on the retail UK charts, according to GfK for the week ending November 21, 2020. Sales for the game only dropped 27 percent week-on-week.
FIFA 21 is up two spots to take second place as sales jumped 121 percent week-on-week due to early Black Friday discounts.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales remains in third place in its second week. The game is one of the bigger PS5 games for its launch, however, the game launched a week before the console’s launch. Even when you combine the first two weeks of Miles Morales sales are still 57 percent lower than 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla after debuting in first place last week dropped down to fourth as sales fell 70 percent week-on-week. A big drop is to be expected as it had a very strong start with sales double that of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Fortnite: The Last Laugh Bundle is the highest new release on the UK retail charts. The Xbox version, which combines the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions, accounted for 32 percent of the sales, followed by the Switch at 30 percent, the SP4 at 29 percent, and PS5 at nine percent.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity debuted in fifth place, with launch sales 324 percent bigger than the launch of the previous Hyrule Warriors game on the Switch. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake had a bigger launch last year, with Age of Calamity selling 43 percent fewer copies.
