Guapdad 4000 Tries to “Trade Places With Them Jeans” In New Music Video

Written by on April 29, 2020

After joining Abby Jasmine for a “Groovy” music video earlier this month, West Oakland native Guapdad 4000 has now delivered a visual for “Trade Places With Them Jeans,” a highlight from his recently-offloaded Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1.

Continuing to spotlight his sultry take on contemporary R&B, the scam rap pioneer takes to swooning over a lover, dropping lyrics like “This is so you, I’m on your a** like Evisu/But even jeans couldn’t hug you like I need to” and “But she actin’ stupid, I’m runnin’ out of patience/ I’m tryna stay friends just to get in that p***y one more time.” In the music video, directed by Chris Simmons, Guap continues to showcase his comedic-yet-sincere candor, delivering some quarantine-themed visuals as he vibes out in protective gear.

Watch Guapdad 4000’s visual for “Trade Places With Them Jeans” above and make sure to listen to Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1 below.

If you haven’t, make sure to listen to Lil Uzi Vert’s new single “Sasuke.”
