Published 11 hours agoon August 27, 2020 Fortnite Season 4 released today, August 27. This also marks the beginning of the seasonal challenges that we can expect to release each Thursday. It may be a new season, but most of the challenges have remained similar. We’ll be searching chests, eliminating players, and collecting floating rings.Fortnite Season 4 Week 1 challenges:
- Search Chests at Dirty Docks (7)
- Eliminations at Holly Hedges (3)
- Collect Floating Rings at Misty Meadows (4)
- Eliminate Stark Robots at Quinjet Patrol landing sites (5)
- Gas a vehicle up at Lazy Lake
- Deal damage to opponents with Stark Industries Energy Rifles (1,000)
- Eliminate Doctor Doom at Doom’s Domain (3): 50,000 XP
- Deal damage to opponents at Craggy Cliffs (500)
Quinjet locationsTwo of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 1 challenges revolve around Quinjet Patrol Landing sites, so it’s helpful to know where to find them. The Quinjets spawn shortly after the Battle Bus takes off, but you need to wait a bit before they show up on the map.
Once you have a few games under your belt, however, you’ll know where they land. These ships will be in the same location in every match – distinguishable by a while marker on your map. Here are the locations of all four of them.Collect Floating Rings at Misty MeadowsThe floating rings challenges are back for Season 4. These are always a bit of a hassle when trying to finish the challenges as fast as possible, but they’re easy to complete once you know where to look. Here’s a video from HarryNinetyFour that shows an easy route to collecting all of these rings in only one minute. The rest of these challenges should be easy to finish within a few matches of mindful playing. Eliminating Doctor Doom three times might be a hassle – Doom’s Domain is a hotspot for activity – but you’ll be able to finish the challenge within a handful of drops. We’ll be back next week with another challenge guide, so stay tuned! Challenges How to find all of the Mysterious claw mark locations for the Fortnite Season 4 Week 1 Wolverine challenge. Published 11 hours agoon August 27, 2020 Fortnite Season 4 brought an entirely new Battle Pass to the game. As many fans suspected, the whole thing revolves around the Marvel crossover. We’ll be getting nine heroes in the Battle Pass along with several variataions and, likely, even more in the Item Shop. Most of these skins require us to complete some challenges in order to unlock all of the styles. The first is Wolverine, who requires challenges before you can even unlock the skin. He may or may not be the Season 4 “secret” skin, although this looks to be Silver Surfer – judging by the fact that his ability is already in the game. This week, we’ll need to investigate the mysterious clay marks that Wolverine left around Weeping Woods. Here’s where you can find all of them. You’ll find these claw marks on the side of the northernmost building, on a rock near the central pond, and on an RV all the way to the south.

The RV marks are tough to miss, but it can be a bit tricky to spot the other two. Here’s a video from HarryNinetyFour that shows you exactly where to look. This will be the first of many hero-specific challenges in Fortnite Season 4, so we hope you’re ready for them. As always, we’ll have you covered with a guide for each of them as they are released.Challenges Take a look at the Apres Ski location and all of the other challenges for Fortnite Season 3 Week 10. Published 1 week agoon August 18, 2020 Fortnite Season 3 Week 10 is here, and the challenges are only a couple of days away from going live. Thanks to data miners, however, we got a look at what to expect a bit early. Most players have already maxed-out their Battle Pass by now, but we still have to grind our way to the enlightened version of the Eternal Knight. This is, in our opinion, far and away the best style of this outfit and worth the time.
Thankfully, the challenges for this week are incredibly straightforward. Yes, that means that there aren’t any “Floating Rings” challenges in the week 10 list. As easy as this is to complete with a guide, it’s annoying to have to dedicate a Team Rumble match to it each week. Here are all of the challenges you need to complete:
- Search 7 Chests at The Authority
- 3 Eliminations at Misty Meadows
- Collect 5 Fireflies from Weeping Woods
- Dance on the Apres Ski dance floor for 10 seconds
- Destroy 7 shipping containers at Dirty Docks
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with Shotguns or SMGs
- Deal 15,000 damage to opponents with Shotguns or SMGs
- Search 7 Ammo Boxes at Frenzy Farm
None of these challenges require much of an explanation save for, “Dance on the Apres Ski dance floor for 10 seconds.” Even this one is easy if you know where Apres Ski is located.

For those who don’t, it’s pretty simple to find. Apres Ski is the name of the building atop the mountain that overlooks Misty Meadows. Most longtime players have landed there once or twice, at least. Here’s the location on the map in case you’re still lost.Once there, finding the dance floor should be simple. It’s on the first floor next to the speakers – impossible to miss from their sound. Quick tip on this: if you’re sick of listening to the music, break the stand that holds the speakers. It’s much weaker than the speakers themselves. After that, you shouldn’t have much of an issue completing these challenges. Most of them don’t even require Team Rumble at all, which has been relatively common this season. Let’s hope that Epic keep these challenges coming in Season 4, which is set to release a week after these challenges go live.Guides How to stoke three Campfires at Camp Cod. Published 2 weeks agoon August 13, 2020 The Fortnite Season 3 Week 9 challenges are live. Luckily, they’re relatively easy this week. You might have some trouble safely filling your car at Catty Corner, but the rest of them shouldn’t be much of a challenge. You can take a look at the full list of challenges here. One of the only challenge that may require a guide is “Stoke Campfires at Cod.” Those who don’t frequent the southernmost island on the map might not know their way around it. Here’s a map of all of the Campfires in the area.We recommend that you hit this challenge in Team Rumble, although that may be a challenge in itself. Other players will undoubtedly be going for it and there are only three Campfires in the area. You’ll need 30 wood to stoke each Campfire, so the Team Rumble material rate will give you a good place to start.
If you want a more specific tutorial on how to find these Campfires, you can take a look at this video from HarryNinetyFour. Once you finish these challenges, you should be well on your way to reaching level 100, if you haven’t already. There are only two weeks left in the season, so get these last few tiers while you still can!Read More
