It looks like Cardi B and Offset are still on very friendly terms. One month after the “WAP” rapper filed for divorce from her husband of three years, the pair were spotted kissing and dancing together during Cardi’s massive, mid-pandemic Las Vegas birthday party on Saturday night.
To kick off the festivities, Offset bought a baby pink billboard for his ex featuring a photo of her and their two-year-old daughter, Kulture, wearing matching outfits alongside text that reads, “Happy Birthday Mommy Love, Kulture.” Cardi shared a video of the attention-grabbing gift on her Instagram account, writing, “Thank you sir I love it,” adding some smirking face emojis. This massive present comes after Offset confessed to one of his social media followers that he was struggling without his estranged wife. When someone commented that the rapper looked “stressed out” on a recent post, he candidly replied, “I miss MRS. WAP.”
But it looks as though the former couple may have reconciled, at least temporarily, over the weekend. Cardi celebrated her 28th birthday by throwing a massive, mask and social distancing-free Las Vegas party attended by celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Megan Thee Stallion, and Teyana Taylor. And it turns out the billboard wasn’t only the first splashy gift the rapper received from her ex. In one Instagram Story from the event, Cardi can be seen kissing Offset after he gave her a fully customized Rolls Royce complete with a matching monogrammed car seat for Kulture.
Cardi officially filed for divorce from the Migos rapper almost exactly one month ago, claiming in the paperwork that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” She followed that up by revealing on her OnlyFans her reasoning behind the decision, explaining, “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again. I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
However, she added, “I don’t have a bad relationship with my baby father at all. I don’t have no hatred towards him and I don’t wish him nothing bad and I know that he feels the same way about me.”
