Atlanta rapper Young Thug has hit the news again. During an interview with GQ Magazine, he believes that when a rapper hit their 30s or 40s, a person around his age shouldn’t be listening to that artist’s music because of age difference. He gives an example of Jay Z in the GQ interview:
“If you’re 30, 40 years old, you’re not getting listened to by minors. Like, Jay Z has some of the sickest lyrics ever, but I would never buy his CD, just because of my age and because of his age. By the time I turn that old, I ain’t gonna be doing what he’s doing.”
The 22 year old goes on to say that he’s pretty sure Jay Z don’t wanna rap right now. He also say he hopes to be “rich forever” with all of the money in the world.
