Two women have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a young father in his early twenties.
The man, who has been named locally as Dave Molloy, lived at the three-storey terraced home in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
He was attacked in the early hours of this morning and police and ambulance crews were called to the home at 2.21am.
A woman in her 40s from Tring and a woman in her 30s from Hemel Hempstead are being held by the police.
Local people said Mr Molloy lived at the house with his girlfriend and young baby and worked as a local builder’s labourer.
They said that several other people also lived at the property.
At the nearby shops, one person said ‘A group of people arrived at the house early this morning, where they heard raised voices arguing.’
Another neighbour said: ‘There are a lot of comings and goings at the house and they have a lot of parties.’
Police and forensics are at the property and the area remains cordoned off.
Online tributes flooded with his heartbroken close friends posting messages on Facebook.

‘I will always remember the laughs thinking of ur family and lil harmony at this heartbreaking time.
