Marcus Smart called out JR Smith for his dirty play following the Boston Celtics‘ 107-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday, via Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated:

“That’s a dirty shot,” Smart explained, per Jeff Goodman of ESPN. “It’s not the first time JR has done dirty stuff, especially against us.”

The play in question came with less than four minutes left at TD Garden in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Al Horford was attempting to finish an alley-oop, but Smith pushed him in the back, causing the center to hit the ground hard.

Smart confronted the Cavaliers guard, and they were both given a technical foul. Smith was also called for a flagrant-1 foul from the initial hit.

Although Smith was only called for two technical fouls and zero flagrant fouls during the regular season, Smart believes the veteran’s actions have been a bigger issue.
