Bill Cosby has admitted to sleeping with teenagers in a newly released deposition. He also confessed to giving quaaludes to 19-year-old model Therese Serignese, while acknowledging that they made her ‘high.’ Cosby was then asked by Andrea Constand’s lawyer, Dolores Troiana, if Serignese was in a position to consent to intercourse after he gave her the drug.
Cosby responded to the question by saying; ‘I don’t know. … How many years ago are we talking about? 197(6)? … She meets me backstage. I give her quaaludes. We then have sex.’
He also stated that he had never taken quaaludes himself, despite the fact that he readily gave them to women as he claimed the drug made him sleepy. Troiana then asked how he could know that they made him sleepy if he never took any himself, to which Cosby replied; ‘Quaaludes happen to be a depressant. I have had surgery and while being given pills that block the nervous system, in particular the areas of muscle, the back, I found that I get sleepy and I want to stay awake.’
