Bizzy Bone Responds To Bone Thugs Being Left Off Rolling Stone’s “Top

Finally Bone Thugs and Harmony member Bizzy Bone gives us his thoughts.

Earlier this year, Rolling Stone magazine released a special “The 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs” edition, rapper Layzie Bone blasted the publication for leaving Bone thugs-n-harmony off the list.

Sitting down with HipHopDX, Bizzy Bone gave a unique perspective of being left out of the feature.

I think it gave us room to have a second wind,” he said. “I really think that it gives us the room to do the Aerosmith, Megadeth, Beatles, kind of Hip Hop move. I think if we’re totally out of the game, I think then ‘Crossroads’ will surface. But while we’re around, I don’t think it’s like, ‘C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, we see you touring. C’mon.’ To me it’s an opportunity Rolling Stone is trying to give us more than anything else subliminally. If not I’m a lunatic anyway, so keep it rockin’.

Should Bone Thugs and Harmony’s “Crossroads” be included in Rolling Stone’s special “The 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs”?
